Our Agriculture strategy is to help food-insecure countries like Sierra Leone implement climate-smart agriculture (CSA) technologies to boost crop productivity and increase food security and nutrition for millions of farmers and their families. We focus on Palm Oil Production and educating farmers on sustainable and profitable farming activities.

Farming in Sierra Leone is mostly for sustainable production. Inefficiencies along the value chain have led to very low and unprofitable yields
EnviroOne encouraged farmers through its education and microfinancing programs to approach farming as a business. The results have been very encouraging.
Improved Water Use Efficiency
Common irrigation practice with huge water losses from evapotranspiration and watering of non-targeted areas away from the plant.
Our education programs encourage farmers to maximize crop production per unit of water consumed through inexpensive drip irrigation techniques
Improved Weed Control
Farmers cannot afford expensive pesticides to control weeds that significantly reduce yields and profits.
